Securing the future of Chabad of Ocala and The Villages is about  serving all Jews regardless of affiliation background or level of observance. Chabad reaches out to all who are in need and assists them with all their needs both physical and spiritual. We  offer social, cultural and educational programs for all ages. From seniors to children, everyone feels at home and welcome at Chabad.

IRA and 401k  Required Distributions -  If you have and IRA or 401k which you are taking out an annual required distribution and you don't need those funds at this time, please consider donating some of those funds to Chabad of Ocala and The Villages. 

Real Estate Donations - You may have real estates that has depreciated in value or you may just not need them. You can get the full appraised value for that real estate even if you couldn't sell it for that amount.

Appreciated Stock - Due to the shifts in the market over the past year you may have appreciated stock. Donating (transferring) the appreciated stock directly to Chabad of Ocala and The Villages helps you avoid capital gains tax while getting you a donation credit at 100% of the stock value.

Foundations – If you or your family have a charitable foundation or distribution trust fund, please include and encourage an annual allocation to Chabad of Ocala and The Villages as a recipient.

Airline Miles - Donating airline miles or AMEX award miles or similar award programs is now considered a charitable contribution eligible to be deducted on your taxes

Auto Donation - If you are planning to purchase a new vehicle in the next few months donating your old one can bring you a greater value on your tax return. Your tax donation value would be evaluated based on www.KBB.com while selling it on the open market may bring you 30-40% of that value.

Remember that donations to Chabad of Ocala and The Villages are 100% tax deductible (speak to your accountant to see how this will benefit you on your return).
