Join together for an evening of community and inspiration as women come together to make delicious honey cake.
Honey cake is a delicious sweet cake, although it looks a little like a bread. Jewish tradition is to eat honey and sweet things for the High Holidays and the Jewish new year. It is customary to distribute honey cake before Yom Kippur and wish each other a "sweet new year". Other traditional Rosh Hashana foods include: Apple dipped in honey, round Challah in Honey, Tzimis (a sweet carrot dish).
Bring your mother, sister, girlfriend and Social Club mate! Whether it's your first attempt to make honey cake or you are a honey cake maven this event is for .
This is an experience you will not want to forget! Come for the camaraderie, for the tradition, for the fun, for the songs, or just come for the cake!
By bringing a large group of women together to bake we will bring together the women in our community for this special moment.
